Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is recruiting a Patient Access Officer for The Wilmslow Hospital in Cheshire. The role is full‑time (37.5 hours) with rotating Saturday shifts, delivering a welcoming front-door experience and coordinating patient flow.

You will support patients, visitors and consultants with high standards of care and a proactive, team-based approach across the front desk and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles such as retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Warmth, compassion and a can-do attitude are essential.
• Computer literacy and ability to handle enquiries efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors at the reception with a warm, professional manner.
• Manage busy front desk, check-ins and general enquiries.
• Provide administrative support to consultants and third parties.
• Collaborate with the Patient Experience Manager and Clinical Services Manager to ensure service standards.
