Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Pathology Department is recruiting a Project Manager to lead multiple pathology projects from small operational changes to large transformation programmes, with budgets often exceeding £1 million.

You will work under the Pathology Programme Manager and collaborate with clinical, operational, digital and corporate stakeholders to deliver outcomes on time and to high standards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience use of project management techniques and processes.
• Experience in procurement processes, contract management and supplier engagement.
• Skills in business case development and benefits realisation planning.
• Experience in creating business cases and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of coaching and mentoring practices and tools.
• Familiarity with quality improvement tools, techniques and methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the procurement, implementation and delivery of pathology projects and transformation programmes.
• Coordinate across clinical, operational, digital and corporate stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project plans, governance, reporting and risk management.
• Ensure projects deliver value, quality, budgets and timescales.
• Support performance improvement, service development and organisational change.
