Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Pathology Programme Manager (maternity cover) to lead the NSECH Pathology New Build Programme. You will coordinate multiple interdependent workstreams with clinical, operational, Estates, Digital and Procurement teams to ensure timely, safe and compliant delivery.

The role requires experienced programme management within healthcare, with gap management, governance and reporting to leadership and project boards.

Qualifications

Experience in leading multi-workstream programmes
Strong governance and reporting skills
Experience within pathology/healthcare projects is desirable

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate workstreams for the NSECH Pathology New Build Programme
Maintain the programme plan, manage milestones, dependencies, risks and issues
Collaborate with Pathology clinical and operational teams, Estates, Digital, Procurement and suppliers
Coordinate complex activity including infrastructure, equipment, digital systems, validation and verification, workforce and service transition
Ensure delivery to quality standards, budgets and timescales
Provide governance and reporting to Pathology leadership and boards
Identify and escalate risks and implement mitigation actions
Provide expert programme and project management advice to broader Pathology transformation priorities
