Job summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated individual to support pathology analysis by preparing instrumentation, reagents and samples. You will manage receipt, storage and stock control of laboratory consumables and help ensure a smooth flow of specimens through the laboratory.

You will coordinate activities to support efficient workflow. Based in Exeter, you’ll join a forward‑thinking team in a modern laboratory environment, contributing to high‑quality

Qualifications

Assisting in analysis of pathology samples
Managing receipt, storage and inventory of lab consumables
Ensuring smooth flow of specimens through the laboratory
Coordinating laboratory work and activities
Carrying out general laboratory duties as required

Responsibilities

Assist in analysis of pathology samples by preparing instrumentation, reagents and specimens.
Manage departmental materials receipt, storage and stock control of consumables.
Ensure the workflow of specimens through the lab operates smoothly.
Coordinate laboratory activities to support seamless workflow.
Undertake general laboratory duties as directed by the laboratory manager or deputy.
