Who are we?

Maison Estelle is a private members’ club set in a Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse on Grafton Street, Mayfair. A ‘hosted home’, bringing people together that have plenty to say and nothing to prove. A new school club (no rules), with old school values of personalised service and discretion.

As a Pastry Sous Chef, your primary function is to provide leadership, management, and oversee kitchen operations at Maison Estelle. You will support the Head Pastry Chef in ensuring the smooth operational running of the kitchen, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our members. You should uphold the highest standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency in line with Maison Estelle’s expectations.

As Pastry Sous Chef, you’ll:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the bakery and pastry department, upholding the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  2. Lead and inspire the team by living the core values of Maison Estelle, creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing kitchen environment.
  3. Play a key part in developing and implementing performance standards, SOPs, and culinary control procedures to ensure smooth operations, efficiency, and full compliance with food safety regulations.
  4. Play a central role in menu development and culinary innovation, contributing fresh ideas and techniques that align with Maison Estelle’s food vision and brand identity.
  5. Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, and training to support the development and growth of the pastry team, nurturing talent and encouraging excellence.
  6. Collaborate with other departments on events, activations, and seasonal offerings to enhance the overall member and guest experience.
  7. Ensure strong interdepartmental communication and stakeholder support to guarantee seamless coordination across the business.
