Meldrum House Hotel invites talented pastry professionals to join our kitchen brigade as a Pastry Junior Sous Chef. You’ll work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to deliver desserts that delight guests across all dining outlets.

This hands-on role focuses on creativity, consistency, and technical skill, with opportunities to contribute ideas for seasonal menus and to mentor junior team members in a busy, five-star environment.

Responsabilités

• Support the preparation and production of high-quality pastry and dessert items for all outlets
• Take responsibility for the pastry section during your shift, ensuring consistency and attention to detail
• Assist in developing new menu items, concepts, and seasonal desserts
• Supervise, train, and support junior pastry team members
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
• Manage food quality, portion control, and stock to minimise waste
