Job summary

Hollingworth Academy seeks a dedicated kitchen professional to support the Second Chef in delivering high-standard catering for pupils, staff and events. The role covers food preparation, cooking, presentation and service across a busy school environment.

The post is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week, term-time pattern), with duties as outlined and a pro-rata salary following NJC grades. DBS checks and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Craft based vocational training or City and Guilds (or equivalent).
• Level 2 Food Safety for Catering.
• Knowledge of nutrition and special diets (e.g. Gluten Free).

Responsibilities
