What you will do as Pastry Chef de Partie
  1. Lead the pastry section, ensuring all products meet high culinary and presentation standards.
  2. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment following hygiene and safety regulations.
  3. Monitor and ensure the quality and consistency of dishes during preparation and plating.
  4. Train and mentor junior staff to uphold kitchen standards and support team development.
  5. Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new dessert concepts and suggest menu alternatives.
  6. Work cooperatively across departments to foster a team environment and support smooth operations.
  7. Stay informed about seasonal ingredients and market trends to inspire innovation and freshness.
  8. Manage pastry inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and ingredient quality control.
  9. Promote sustainability by minimizing food and equipment waste through efficient practices.
  10. Implement and uphold all brand standards, including Touches of Hyatt and Food & Beverage Top 20.
About you

Proven experience in culinary operations, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to oversee and inspire the pastry section. Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and presentation skills is required.
