Job summary

Education Matters Group is supporting a well-established college to appoint a Pastoral Tutor with a background in Construction. This role focuses on keeping vocational construction students engaged, motivated and on track to achieve their goals.

Candidates with construction experience or study, now in education or support roles, or seeking to transition into education, are ideal. Mon-Fri, with both full-time and part-time options available, paying £110-£140 per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to students within the construction department.
• Support behaviour, attendance, and student engagement.
• Deliver one-to-one and group support sessions.
• Work closely with teaching staff to support learner progress.
• Monitor and track student development and wellbeing.
• Support students with barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes.

We are currently supporting a well-established college in appointing a Pastoral Tutor with a background in Construction. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students studying vocational construction courses, helping them to stay engaged, motivated, and on track to achieve their goals.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked or studied within construction and has since moved into an education or support-based role, or is looking to transition into one.

• Mon - Fri, Fulltime & Part Time Available
• £110 - £140 per day
