Job summary

The Watergrove Trust is seeking a Pastoral TA Level 3 for Moorhouse Academy in Milnrow. You will complement teachers’ delivery, monitor pupils, and develop targeted support to raise achievement and overcome barriers to learning.

You will work with staff to improve attendance, deliver pre-planned lessons during absences, and support individuals or groups with SEND. CPD opportunities are available within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pastoral TA or similar role is desirable.
• Ability to monitor pupils and support attendance and well-being.
• Excellent communication with staff, pupils and families.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the curriculum alongside teaching staff.
• Develop tailored action plans for individuals and groups to raise achievement.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absences and support classroom learning.
• Collaborate with office team to improve attendance among vulnerable families.
