Job summary

Chilton Trinity School in Bridgwater, Somerset, part of Futura Learning Partnership, seeks a values-driven Pastoral Support Officer to help students overcome barriers to learning, support wellbeing and safeguarding, and work closely with staff and external agencies. You will coordinate targeted interventions with Heads of House and SEND colleagues.

The role supports attendance and behaviour, with a focus on creating an inclusive environment where every pupil can engage successfully in education.

Qualifications

• Supports students with behavioural, attendance, wellbeing or safeguarding needs in a calm, professional manner.
• Communicates effectively with students, families, staff and external agencies; maintains accurate records and confidentiality.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above; experience with young people in education or pastoral settings.
