Job summary

TimePlan Education Group LTD is recruiting an Assistant Pastoral Manager for a good secondary school in London to support students within an Academic Hall and alongside the Pastoral Manager. You will help deliver the college tutorial programme, monitor pastoral and academic data, identify students needing extra support and implement interventions, while contributing to assemblies and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational environment.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use pastoral and academic data to identify and support students.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
• Willingness to undertake training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the college tutorial programme and support student wellbeing.
• Monitor pastoral and academic data to identify students needing additional support.
• Implement appropriate interventions and track progress.
• Contribute to assemblies and tutorial bulletins, promoting positive behaviour and personal development.
• Promote student wellbeing and social-emotional development.
• Communicate with parents and external agencies, building positive relationships.
