Job summary

SGS Forest High is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Leader (Behaviour and Inclusion) to work with the Assistant Headteacher Inclusion and Head of Pastoral to support students' wellbeing and equal opportunities for learning.

You will co-lead the school's Alternative Provision, coordinate the detention system, monitor behaviour data to shape interventions, and build strong partnerships with Year Teams, SEND, families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and promote positive

Qualifications

Proven experience in pastoral care and behaviour support.
Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to inclusion.
Ability to use data and judgement to tailor interventions.
Excellent communication with students, families and staff.

Responsibilities

Co-lead Alternative Provision and create a calm, structured environment.
Coordinate and oversee the school's detention system.
Monitor behaviour data and shape targeted interventions.
Build partnerships with Heads of Year, SEND team, families and external agencies.
Deliver mentoring and intervention programmes to improve engagement.
Support safeguarding as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Lead Young Carers support to ensure needs are met.
Promote positive behaviour and student wellbeing across the school.
Maintain FOREST values in daily practice.
