Job summary

The candidate will respond to calls, record incidents, and help students transition back to lessons while building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in pastoral, behaviour or student support roles is desirable.
• Confident handling of challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable recording information accurately in school systems.
• Available to start ASAP; Enhanced DBS on Update Service required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to pastoral and behaviour calls across the school.
• Support students with behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
• Deal confidently with challenging situations.
• Work with teaching, pastoral and senior staff.
• Record incidents and updates in the school’s systems.
• Support students returning to lessons and maintain professional relationships.
• Provide general pastoral and administrative support as needed.
