Job summary

The Phoenix Collegiate in West Bromwich is seeking a proactive Pastoral Manager to provide a highly visible presence in school and support pastoral care within our House system. You will challenge and motivate students, establishing productive relationships and running behaviour spaces throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will bring safeguarding knowledge and experience, with a background in behaviour management, counselling or mentoring.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of safeguarding concerns in education.
• Background in behaviour management, counselling or mentoring.
• Ability to work effectively with parents/carers and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral care within the House system and address attendance, behaviour, punctuality or achievement issues.
• Lead whole-school activities and interventions to support student well‑being and engagement.
