Job summary

Myton School is seeking a Pastoral Leader to support students across a year group and contribute to the school vision of lifelong success through CARE values. You will work with the Head of Year and Leadership Team to ensure outstanding progress by removing barriers to learning and liaising with parents, teachers, and external agencies to improve attendance and achievement.

The role offers a 37-hour week over 39 weeks plus INSET days, with tailored professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Supports students to thrive and improve attendance.
• Works with Head of Year and Leadership Team to raise achievement.

Responsibilities

• Remove barriers to learning to help students progress.
• Liaise with parents, teachers and external agencies to improve year-group attendance.
• Use data to identify at-risk groups and implement targeted measures.
