Abbeyfield School is seeking an Assistant Head of Year to support welfare, behaviour, attendance and personal development of students. You will work closely with the Head of Year and the pastoral team to build positive relationships with students, families and staff, ensuring every young person feels supported and ready to achieve.

The role requires calm under pressure, strong organisation, and a genuine commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing within a values-led and ambitious school

Qualifications

• Pastoral experience with young people.
• Ability to build supportive relationships with students, families and staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication.
