Job summary

Hollingworth Academy, part of Hollingworth Learning Trust, is seeking a Pastoral Manager to promote a positive culture and support pupils across year groups in attendance, behaviour and wellbeing. The role is permanent, term-time plus one week, 36.25 hours per week, 8.15am–4pm.

Salary is NJC Scale Points 23–30, pro rata £31,065–£36,788 for full-time; actual salary will reflect term-time hours. Closing date: 5 October 2026, with interview on 12 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, inclusive and aspirational culture across the academy.
• Monitor and respond to pupils' attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and progress.
• Design and implement targeted interventions to promote achievement and address barriers to learning, including SEMH needs.
• Collaborate with SLT, pastoral and inclusion teams, tutors and staff to uphold the academy's values.
