Job summary

Darwen Vale High School, part of Aldridge Education, is seeking an enthusiastic Behaviour Manager to support the Senior Leadership Team in developing a positive whole-school culture of Attitudes to Learning, Behaviour and Safety.

The role focuses on managing challenging pupil behaviour, raising standards, and helping students re-engage with learning through restorative approaches, nurturing relationships and strong communication across the school community.

Qualifications

• Non-teaching pastoral leadership experience preferred.
• Strong focus on Attitudes to Learning, Behaviour and Safety.
• Excellent communication and restorative approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead behaviour management and oversee Attitudes to Learning, Behaviour and Safety across the school.
• Develop and maintain a positive school culture and high behaviour standards.
• Collaborate with staff, families and external agencies to support wellbeing, attendance and safeguarding.
