Job summary

Sapientia Education Trust is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Assistant to support inclusion and student well‑being in a small, welcoming school on the Norfolk Broads. • Build positive relationships with young people and demonstrate resilience and flexibility in challenging situations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and caring Pastoral Assistant to join our school.

The Pastoral Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our inclusion provision, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve success both academically and personally. Working closely with pastoral leaders, teaching staff, families and external agencies, you will supervise students referred to our Internal Exclusion Room, provide pastoral support, promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm and purposeful learning environment.

We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be able to build positive relationships with young people, remain calm under pressure and demonstrate resilience, flexibility and a genuine commitment to supporting students.
