Do you have the skills to help children overcome barriers and achieve their potential?

We are seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Pastoral Advocate to join our Primary Phase team on a maternity cover basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families by providing pastoral support that promotes wellbeing, attendance, engagement and positive outcomes. Working closely with pupils, families, colleagues and external partners, you will help create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and able to thrive. You will build trusted relationships with children, provide targeted support when needed and help ensure pupils have the confidence, resilience and sense of belonging needed to participate fully in school life.

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with a child‑centred approach and a commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and equal opportunities. You will be able to work collaboratively, respond flexibly to individual needs and contribute positively to a culture where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.

If you are committed to helping children flourish and believe in the power of positive relationships to transform outcomes, we would love to hear from you.
