Kensit Evangelical Church invites applications for the position of Pastor. The successful candidate will work with two elders and four deacons to oversee the church, which has 47 members and meets twice on Sundays, with midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting and Friday youth groups.

DBS check and UK right to work are required; position is a local, on-site role in East Finchley. The church is part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches and participates in local and overseas

Qualifications

• Must have pastoral experience and be able to lead a small church.
• Experience in church governance with elders and deacons.
• Commitment to outreach and regular visitation.

Our current Pastor is due to retire by the end of 2026 and we are seeking to call a new man to take on this role and work with the other 2 elders and 4 deacons in the oversight of the church. The church currently has 47 members. We meet twice on a Sunday, have a midweek Bible Study and Prayer Meeting, and age-appropriate young people's groups on Friday evenings. There is regular door-to-door visitation and open-air witness in the local area and we support mission at home and overseas.

Candidates must currently have the right to work in the UK. Any offer of appointment will be contingent on an enhanced DBS check.
