Job summary

Pasta Evangelists is seeking an Event Chef to lead pasta masterclasses and manage operations for events. You will host public and corporate sessions, guide guests and staff, and arrange venues to high standards.

You will source antipasto, manage stock and daily orders, and ensure strict health and safety compliance. Applicants should be a passionate, self-employed chef with excellent pasta knowledge, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Self-employed chef with ability to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.
• Strong knowledge of fresh ingredients and scratch cooking.
• Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Host events for public and corporate clients.
• Guide guests and staff during events.
• Arrange premises to Pasta Evangelists standards.
• Aim for 5-star reviews on Google and TripAdvisor.
• Source and prepare antipasto dishes per dietary needs.
• Manage stock, rotation, and daily orders for weekly classes.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and complete docs.
• Attend training sessions with Chef Roberta.
• Participate in staff meetings and raise issues to management.
• Full-time role may require 8+ events per week during busy periods.
