Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager in Bath to lead fire door projects for a specialist fire safety contractor. You will oversee passive fire protection work on a live residential project, ensuring the programme and specifications are met.

You will supervise installers, manage on-site health and safety, and act as the main contact for clients and inspectors. A strong hands-on approach and clear communication are essential to keep projects moving in this busy Bath area.

Qualifications

Experience in passive fire protection and site management.
Knowledge of BM TRADA fire door standards.
SMSTS certificate and DBS check are required.

Responsibilities

Oversee passive fire projects from start to finish, keeping work on programme and to specification.
Supervise installers and operatives, ensuring good standards of workmanship and site discipline.
Manage health and safety on site, including briefings, inspections and records.
Check that fire door installations meet the required standards and are properly documented.
Act as the main on-site contact for clients, contractors and inspectors.
Report on progress, resolve issues quickly and keep projects moving.
