Job summary

Invision Group in Kent is seeking an Estimator or Assistant Estimator to join its Remediation Division, focusing on fire door remediation and installation tenders.

You will work with an experienced commercial team, reviewing drawings and pricing, with exposure to firestopping works and benefits include career progression and professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator or Assistant Estimator.
• Experience in fire doors and passive fire protection.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Preparing estimates and tenders for fire door works.
• Pricing of associated firestopping and passive fire protection works.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Assisting with tender submissions and pricing.
• Liaising with suppliers, clients and internal teams.
• Supporting the wider commercial team with estimating activities.

Job description

A well-established passive fire protection contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with an Estimator based from their Kent office to support its growing Remediation Division.

The role would suit an Assistant Estimator or early-career Estimator looking to develop their experience within the fire door and passive fire protection sector. The successful candidate will primarily work on fire door remediation and installation tenders, with some exposure to associated firestopping works.

You'll work alongside an experienced commercial team, gaining valuable estimating experience across a range of refurbishment and remediation projects, with excellent opportunities for career progression and further professional qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing estimates and tenders primarily for fire door works


• Assisting with pricing of associated firestopping and passive fire protection works


• Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements


• Obtaining and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations


• Assisting with tender submissions and pricing


• Liaising with suppliers, clients and internal teams


• Supporting the wider commercial team with estimating activities

About You
