Job summary

You will deliver engaging, personalised learning for pupils with diverse needs, building confidence and life skills while collaborating with families and professionals to ensure the best outcomes.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• A genuine passion for helping children with complex needs and diverse learning styles.
• Creative, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Positive, resilient and collaborative attitude. Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum tailored to individual learners.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Use varied assessment strategies to monitor progress and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes.
• Promote positive behaviour with trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and external professionals to support pupils.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.
