Job summary

Outcomes First Group's Heath Farm School in Ashford is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to deliver engaging, personalised lessons within a nurturing SEN environment. You will help pupils build confidence and essential life skills, using creative approaches to meet diverse needs.

The role is fixed-term until March 2027, 35 hours per week, term-time only, starting August 2026. UK applicants only; salary up to £40,000 depending on experience. Driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Passion for helping children with complex needs and diverse learning styles.
• Creative, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Positive, resilient and collaborative attitude.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and delivering outstanding outcomes.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across the primary curriculum that meet the individual needs of every learner.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom where pupils feel valued, supported and motivated to succeed.
• Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor progress, celebrate achievements and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes.
• Promote positive behaviour through consistent, trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals to provide the very best support for every pupil.
• Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement initiatives and the wider life of the school.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils, ensuring their wellbeing remains at the heart of everything you do.
