Recruitment Opportunities in Luton is seeking a Passenger Assistant to support the safe and comfortable transport of children, young people, older adults and vulnerable passengers across Luton.

This permanent role is 30 hours per week with a salary of £26,847 to £33,673 pro rata. You will assist passengers, build positive relationships with service users and carers, and provide a friendly, professional service at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public and strong communication skills.
• Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs and lifting equipment.
• Willingness to complete regular training including safeguarding and first aid.

Responsabilités

• Assist passengers during their journey and provide safe, comfortable transport.
• Build positive relationships with service users and carers.
• Communicate clearly and sensitively; respond to emergencies.
• Work flexibly to accommodate delays.
