Job summary

London Southend Airport Company Limited is seeking a Passenger Experience Assistant - Cleaning Specialist to help maintain the terminal and aircraft presentation. You will perform deep cleaning, waste management, and safety duties while assisting passengers and supporting outlet teams.

The role is 40 hours per week, with early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays included. Join a dedicated team focused on delivering a superior passenger experience at Southend-on-Sea.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Able to work well both independently and in a team.
• Previous customer service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the needs and requests of passengers.
• Perform deep cleans of the terminal and aircrafts.
• Handle airport waste management responsibilities.
• Manage Legionella risk following the regime set by the line manager.
• Maintain COSHH controls and safety procedures.
• Assist passengers who are vulnerable or have reduced mobility.
• Support our Food & Beverage and Retail outlets within the terminal.
• Embody the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and be flexible for other duties as required.
• Understand that the airport operates 24/7 and shifts may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays.
