Aviation Advisors Limited at Birmingham Airport is looking for Airport Cleaning Operatives to join our terminal services team, ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for passengers in a fast-paced, 24/7 setting.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £20.50–£25.50 with night/weekend premiums, full training, and career progression into Team Leader or Supervisor roles. Both full-time and part-time permanent contracts are available.

Responsibilities

• Terminal Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining high-traffic areas including departure lounges, check-in desks, and arrival halls.
• Washroom Hygiene: Ensuring all restroom facilities are cleaned, disinfected, and restocked to a high standard throughout the shift.
• Waste Management: Emptying bins, recycling properly, and ensuring floors are free of litter and spillages.
• Specialist Cleaning: Operating industrial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners (training provided).
• Security Awareness: Remaining vigilant and reporting any unattended baggage or suspicious activity to Airport Security immediately.
• Customer Service: Providing friendly assistance to passengers who may have questions about directions or facilities.
