Job description

Requirements:

• Able to interpret technical engineering drawings for specifications, tolerances and datum structures. • Ability to use measurement equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges etc. • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to communicate at all levels. • Ability to use IT systems (Microsoft Office, Databases etc.). • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials or Electrical).

Preferences:

• Prior experience working in a QA Team within the manufacturing sector. • Awareness of quality systems and procedures (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949). • Ability to problem solve through data analysis. • Experience within a calibration laboratory. • Familiar with AutoCAD and/or PolyWorks. • Previous experience with CMM measuring and/or 3D scanning would be a distinct advantage.
