Parts Quality Assurance Inspector - Special Skills

Requirements:

  1. Able to interpret technical engineering drawings for specifications, tolerances and datum structures.
  2. Ability to use measurement equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges etc.
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to communicate at all levels.
  4. Ability to use IT systems (Microsoft Office, Databases etc.).
  5. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials or Electrical).

Preferences:

  1. Prior experience working in a QA Team within the manufacturing sector.
  2. Awareness of quality systems and procedures (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949).
  3. Ability to problem solve through data analysis.
  4. Experience within a calibration laboratory.
  5. Familiar with AutoCAD and/or PolyWorks.
  6. Previous experience with CMM measuring and/or 3D scanning would be a distinct advantage.
