Duties of the Parts Manager:
- Lead and motivate the parts department team, fostering a collaborative environment
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with current and future business objectives
- Monitor KPIs, analyse trends, and address any variances promptly
- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and support team development
- Maintain high standards of customer service through face-to-face and telephone communication
- Ensure the parts department operates efficiently, optimising resource allocation
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to support overall business success
- Respond swiftly to changing business needs, maintaining agility in service delivery
Requirements of the Parts Manager:
- Proven experience within the automotive parts industry, ideally as a Parts Manager or Parts Supervisor
- Exceptional organisational skills, including high-level reporting and data analysis
- Strong leadership qualities with an approachable and motivating leadership style
- Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
