Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchise‑approved automotive dealership or motor factor.
• Knowledge or experience with commercial vehicle parts is desirable but not essential.
• IT literate, with experience working with electronic parts catalogue systems (Kerridge/Keyloop preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deal directly with trade and retail customers regarding parts enquiries and sales.
• Ensure accurate identification, picking, and dispatching of parts orders.
• Provide high-quality customer service through face‑to‑face interactions, emails, and phone calls.
• Carry out parts stock control and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Supply parts to HGV Technicians in the workshop.
• Cover for the Parts Delivery Driver during their absence.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely parts availability.
• Utilise electronic parts catalogue systems, including Kerridge/Keyloop (advantageous).

We are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.

Requirements of the Parts Advisor:

• Recent experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchise‑approved automotive dealership or motor factor
• Knowledge or experience with commercial vehicle parts is desirable but not essential
• IT literate, with experience working with electronic parts catalogue systems (Kerridge/Keyloop preferred)
• Hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong customer service and sales skills with a professional, friendly manner
• Residency within a reasonable commute to Gloucester preferred
