Based in Sittingbourne, Kent, this is an exciting opportunity to bring your motor factor experience into a fast-growing, e-commerce-driven environment at Aceparts, part of the Vertu Motors PLC group.

Your Role

As our new Customer Service Parts Advisor, you'll handle incoming eBay and website customer enquiries, providing accurate parts identification and top-tier support across pre-sale and post-sale queries.

You'll be the knowledgeable link between customers, suppliers, and our internal team—drawing on your technical automotive parts expertise to ensure our customers always get the right part, first time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify vehicle parts using registration lookup tools, catalogues, and supplier data
  • Respond to customer messages via our suite of tools, but also by phone when needed
  • Accurately manage returns and provide suitable resolutions
  • Collaborate with the product and data teams to highlight issues and improve listings
  • Build strong working relationships with automotive suppliers for product knowledge support and training opportunities
  • Take the lead on individual, tailored projects inspired by your own ideas and aligned with your personal development goals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • 3+ years of experience in an automotive motor factor or parts advisor role
  • Proven knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and part compatibility
  • Confidence in handling customer enquiries with empathy and professionalism
  • A passion for vehicles and aftermarket products
  • Strong written communication skills and IT literacy
  • Experience using eBay, CRM tools, and automotive catalogue systems
