Job summary

Steven Eagell Northampton is seeking a Parts Advisor to deliver an excellent customer experience by understanding needs and recommending the right parts, while managing pricing, availability and stock levels to support workshop schedules. You will process warranty claims, manage invoicing and records, and work with colleagues across departments.

A full UK driving licence is essential; the role is permanent and full-time with benefits including 25 days leave, birthday off, pension, car benefit

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer-focused approach and ability to understand customer needs.
• Experience in automotive parts, retail, or trade sales is a plus.
• Organised and detail-oriented with stock, orders and administration responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent customer experience by understanding needs and recommending the right parts and accessories.
• Provide accurate pricing, availability and product information in person and over the phone.
• Promote and maximise sales of genuine parts and current promotions.
• Manage parts stock levels, orders, goods receipt, storage and returns.
• Support the Service team by ensuring parts availability aligns with workshop schedules and minimises downtime.
• Process warranty claims and supplier returns per manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain accurate administration, invoicing and customer records.
• Develop local trade and coordinate parts deliveries.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless customer journey.
