Job summary

Steven Eagell Limited is recruiting a Parts Advisor to deliver an outstanding customer experience by understanding needs and recommending the right parts and accessories. You will help manage pricing, stock, and administration while supporting the service team and driving parts sales.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experience by understanding needs and recommending parts/accessories.
• Provide accurate pricing, availability and product information in person or over the phone.
• Promote and maximise sales of genuine parts, accessories and promotions.
• Manage parts stock levels including ordering, goods receipt, storage and returns.
• Support the Service team by ensuring parts availability aligns with workshop schedules.
• Process warranty claims and supplier returns per manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain accurate administration, invoicing and customer records.
• Develop local trade business and coordinate parts deliveries.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments for a seamless customer journey.

Your Responsibilities as a Parts Advisor

• Process warranty claims and supplier returns in line with manufacturer requirements
• Maintain accurate administration, invoicing and customer records
• Develop local trade business and coordinate parts deliveries
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless customer journey

What we are looking for in a Parts Advisor

• A customer-focused individual who builds rapport easily and listens carefully to understand both stated and underlying needs
• Commercially aware, with the confidence to recommend products and identify additional sales opportunities
• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage stock, orders and administration accurately
• A strong team player who communicates effectively with Service and other departments
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ideally experience in automotive parts, retail, trade sales or a similar customer-facing environment
