Job summary

Listers Land Rover Hereford is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team. You’ll supply Land Rover parts to the public, trade clients and our workshops, interacting across sales and service.

The role covers picking parts, confirming stock, handling enquiries, and processing warranty claims. A passion for excellent customer service and the ability to build rapport quickly are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Previous parts advisor experience within a dealership or motor factor knowledge is preferred.
• Willingness to learn about premium Land Rover products and parts.

Responsibilities

• Pre-pick parts for workshop job cards and client orders.
• Check stock availability and manage replenishment for workshops and trade/retail customers.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, walk-in clients and online inquiries to build client relationships.
• Assist with warranty claims processing and complete related administration.
• Develop knowledge of Land Rover parts to explain usage and benefits.
• Maintain high standards of service and help meet tight deadlines.

Hereford. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with Saturday mornings worked on a rotational basis. Salary includes a basic salary plus a monthly bonus, with an OTE of £37,000. A Parts Advisor is a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service and our clients. You will be directly involved in supplying Land Rover parts to the general public, trade clients and our own workshops. This role would perfectly suit a highly - motivated individual with experience and a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service for one of the world's leading car brands. • The work is diverse, and you'll be working both behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk serving our clients.
• You will be responsible for pre-picking parts for the workshop job cards, picking parts for client orders and checking availability of stock from various enquiries.
• Through in-bound and out-bound telephone enquiries, walk in clients, and internet enquiries you will be developing client relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression.
• Ensuring consumables and service parts are regularly replenished providing a swift service to our workshop and other departments as well as our trade/retail customers.
• Handles warranty claims processing (relating to parts issues) and completes all relevant administration promptly and accurately (including customer records and invoicing).
• You'll develop knowledge of our premium Land Rover products to understand the purpose of vehicle parts and how they function. We are looking for someone with previous experience working as a parts advisor within a dealership or you will have gained motor factor knowledge in a similar role with another franchise or specialist parts company.
• However, if you have a good understanding of cars & the ability to learn, we are happy to train the right candidate.
• The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our clients.
• You should be proactive; sales driven and maintain an outstanding level of customer service.
• You must have excellent communication & organisational skills while working well in a fast-paced environment.
