Job summary

Tru talent in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy automotive dealership. You will identify and supply parts for commercial vehicles, serve workshop technicians and retail customers, and help keep stock records accurate.

The role offers a £30,000-£32,000 basic salary, a targeted monthly bonus - £300 plus 1% over 120% target, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and clear opportunities for career development within the parts department.

Qualifications

• Previous Parts Advisor, Parts Sales or Automotive Parts experience preferred.
• Commercial vehicle or dealership experience advantageous.
• Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good computer and administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and supply parts for commercial vehicles.
• Serve workshop technicians and retail customers.
• Process parts orders and raise invoices.
• Check availability, pricing and delivery times.
• Source parts from suppliers when required.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and records.
• Receive, check and store incoming parts.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Deal with customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
• Support the smooth running of the Parts Department.
• Identify additional sales opportunities and maximise revenue.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor / Automotive Parts Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with automotive parts, commercial vehicle parts or dealership parts experience looking to join a professional team with good earning potential and career development.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the workshop and customers have the correct parts available when required, whilst delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate stock records.
