Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our Service Team to deliver a high standard of service to all our customers. You will be a key member at the heart of our operation.

Job Role: Senior Parts Advisor

Job Location: Exeter

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm (with a half an hour unpaid lunch). Every third Saturday 8.00am to 12noon.

Parts Advisor Role:

You will be involved in duties such as:

1. Over the counter customer parts sales in person and on the telephone.
2. Dealing with a busy workshop for orders for all parts.
3. Sourcing and ensuring the control and procurement of parts.
4. Involvement in stock controls, stock taking and warranty parts retention and storage for audit purposes.
5. Issuing PPE equipment to staff.
6. Resolving invoice queries, sorting returns to suppliers, chasing for credits on the same.
7. Controlling waste disposal, purchasing of tools and equipment for the workshop including consumables.

All parts are controlled by our dealer management system DMS. We request all staff promote the company in a positive way to enhance parts sales and growth opportunities.

Additional Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Parts Advisor.
2. Excellent customer handling skills are essential to this position.
3. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and working as part of a team.
