Job summary

Northumbria University is seeking a dedicated professional to manage the university's partnerships within the Northern Accelerator and SCENE programs. You will directly support IP Commercialisation, including managing the patent portfolio and supporting licensing and commercialisation projects.

The role involves coordinating with Partnership Managers at Durham and other North East universities, and managing the Northumbria Knowledge Bank to enable external access to university IP.

Qualifications

• Experience in IP commercialization or knowledge transfer within a research/academic setting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration across multiple universities.
• Ability to manage complex programs with cross-institutional partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage Northumbria University's partnership in the Northern Accelerator and SCENE programs.
• Support IP Commercialisation activities, including managing patent portfolio and licensing opportunities.
• Coordinate with Partnership Managers at Durham University and other North East universities.
• Operate and develop the Northumbria Knowledge Bank innovation portal for external access to IP.
