Job summary

Northumbria University is seeking a proactive IP Commercialisation and Partnerships Manager to lead its involvement in the Northern Accelerator and SCENE programs and to support IP Commercialisation within the IP Commercialisation team.

You will coordinate with Durham University and Partnership Managers across the North East, manage the university’s patent portfolio, and drive knowledge exchange and innovation portal activities through the Northumbria Knowledge Bank.

Responsibilities

• Manage Northumbria University's partnership in the Northern Accelerator and SCENE program.
• Support IP commercialisation activities, including managing the patent portfolio and licensing projects.
• Coordinate with Durham University and Partnership Managers at four other North East universities.
• Develop experience in IP Commercialisation and Knowledge Exchange across campus.
