Job Title: Partnerships Director

Location: London (Hybrid)

Reporting To: CEO / Senior Leadership Team

About The Female Lead

The Female Lead is a platform dedicated to amplifying the stories of women making a difference across industries. We reach 9 million women every month, using powerful storytelling, research and partnerships to inspire and drive change. Now, we’re launching a B2B agency to help brands better connect with women through smarter use of data, creativity and media - and we’re looking for a Partnerships Director to help us make it happen.

The Role

We need someone with sharp commercial instincts and a passion for purpose-led storytelling to drive brand partnerships and revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing collaborations with brands and agencies that align with our mission. From pitching to negotiation and activation, you’ll take the lead on partnerships and become the face of our B2B offering.

You’ll also stay ahead of marketing, data and creative trends, ensuring we leverage insights and innovation to deliver value. Your role will be critical in driving our strategy, ensuring our partnerships are not only impactful but also positioned at the cutting edge of the industry.

We’re looking for someone who sees this as a long-term opportunity to grow with the role - a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a dream-big attitude who isn’t afraid to make things happen.

This role will interact with brands across consumer, culture and corporate sectors, so adaptability across these business types is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a brand partnerships strategy that drives revenue and influence.
  • Build strong relationships with brand and agency stakeholders, connecting their objectives with our mission.
  • Lead all aspects of partnership development, from pitch to execution, including owning the development of bespoke creative proposals, media plans and SOWs.
  • Create compelling sponsorship and collaboration opportunities across content, events, research and social impact initiatives.
  • Work closely with our team to develop innovative, mission-aligned campaigns for partners.
  • Manage budgets to ensure strong ROI for every partnership.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and keep The Female Lead at the forefront of meaningful brand collaborations.
  • Work cross functionally with editorial, creative and data teams to continually optimise our partnership offering and capabilities.
About You
  • Proven experience in brand partnerships, sponsorship sales, or business development in media, content, or purpose-driven organisations.
  • A natural dealmaker who can craft and deliver persuasive proposals.
  • A confident negotiator with a strong track record of securing high-value deals.
  • Well-connected across brands, agencies and media partners.
  • Comfortable managing budgets and delivering commercial targets.
  • Adaptable, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
