Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Senior Partnership Tax professional to lead day-to-day delivery of the UK Partnership Tax compliance function and shape the firm’s tax strategy for the partnership and its partners.

You will work with the Head of Tax, CFO, Finance teams and the Partner Tax team to drive timely, accurate filings (LLP/SA800) and lead the Partnership Tax Group, aligning processes with HMRC requirements and firm-wide quality controls.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualifications strongly preferred
• Evidence of CPD and familiarity with quality/controls frameworks
• Proven UK tax compliance experience across partnerships (LLP/SA800) and/or corporates (CT600/QIPs)
• Experience in a professional services firm in a senior role
• Hands-on fluency with CCH Personal Tax (or equivalent) software
• Track record running seasonal compliance workflows with standardised processes and dashboards

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of the UK Partnership Tax compliance function
• Drive the firm’s tax strategy, policies and advisory work for the partnership and its partners
• Chair the Partnership Tax Group and manage the Partnership Tax Team
• Prepare/review UK corporate tax computations and CT600s for UK entities; coordinate SAO touchpoints
• Oversee HMRC submissions and ensure portal alignment with internal schedules
• Embed quality controls and driving first-time-right in partnership tax processes
