Job summary

Forvis Mazars LLP in the UK is seeking an experienced senior professional to lead the Partnership Tax function and oversee both LLP and corporate tax work. You will drive tax strategy, ensure quality control, and manage cross-functional relationships with Finance and other specialists.

You will run end-to-end personal tax workflows, maintain documentation, and supervise a team to deliver accurate, timely returns while monitoring compliance with HMRC requirements and digital initiatives.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA/ACCA strongly preferred.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD and familiarity with firm-wide quality/controls frameworks.
• Proven UK tax compliance experience across partnerships (LLP/SA800) and/or corporates (CT600/QIPs).
• Relevant experience in a professional services firm and in a senior role.
• Hands-on fluency with CCH Personal Tax (or equivalent tax software).
• Track record running seasonal compliance workflows with standardised processes and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Run the CCH Personal Tax workflow from intake through preparation, review, filing, payments and PoAs; maintain a single log and weekly run-rate dashboard.
• Own the annual LLP tax computation and SA800, maintaining documentation of positions and change-control.
• Lead the Partnership Tax Group, chair quarterly meetings and monitor action follow-up.
• Manage the Partnership Tax Team.
• Prepare/review UK corporate tax computations and CT600s for UK entities; manage QIPs and coordinate SAO touchpoints with Finance.
• Oversee SDES bulk submissions and ensure HMRC portal alignment with internal schedules; liaise with Partner Finance on reconciliations.
• Embed mandated workflow/quality controls and enquiry readiness; drive first-time-right and manage ageing items within tolerance.
• Partner with Finance, Payroll/Global Mobility, VAT and other specialists; provide monthly status to the Partnership Tax Director.
