NELFT NHS Foundation Trust in Brookside Acute Services is seeking a part-time STR Worker/OT assistant to support the Young People’s Home Treatment Team. The role involves assisting nurses and occupational therapists with assessments, planning and delivery of care for young people, and supporting students and staff within the team.

Under supervision, you will contribute to collaborative care, participate in multidisciplinary planning, and help promote recovery and independence in service users

Competenze

• Experience in supporting assessment and care delivery for young people.
• Ability to work under supervision from a Nurse or Occupational Therapist.
• Commitment to collaborative working with health and social professionals.

Mansioni

• Support the assessment and treatment of a defined group of service users with complex needs.
• Work as part of Brookside Nursing & Occupational Therapy team to provide care to young people.
• Responsible for own work and actions.
• Carrying out and monitoring treatment programmes and therapeutic programmes as directed.
• Forming part of an interdependent multi-disciplinary team to ensure input is integrated into the service user’s overall care and treatment plans.
• Promoting the recovery of service users and maintaining their independence.
