Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust Basildon Hospital is offering a part-time therapy assistant role within the Children's Therapy Team on maternity cover. The post suits someone with healthcare experience and a patient‑centred approach.

You will support the occupational and physiotherapists on wards and in clinics, contribute to assessments and treatments (including hydrotherapy and group work) and carry out departmental duties to ensure smooth running.

Formación

• GCSEs or equivalent required.
• Experience in an acute healthcare setting.
• Experience working with children.
• Experience collaborating with therapists.

Responsabilidades

• Work on wards and in outpatients, supporting therapists in service delivery.
• Contribute to assessment and treatment of patients, including group work and hydrotherapy.
• Undertake general departmental duties such as cleaning, data collection and ordering equipment.
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks to maintain smooth operations.
