Job summary

Groundwork South is seeking a Sessional Youth Worker to deliver activity sessions, workshops and trips for adopted young people aged 10-17 in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The role involves up to three Saturdays a month in Hampshire and one Saturday bi-monthly on IoW, working with the Fusion project team.

You must hold a Full UK driving licence and be willing to travel across the region. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits including travel expenses and accredited training.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering youth activity sessions
• Willingness to travel across Hampshire & IoW
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Deliver activity sessions, workshops and trips for adopted young people aged 10-17 in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
• Support delivery of activities and events across the region, up to 3 Saturdays a month in Hampshire and possibly 1 Saturday bi-monthly on the Isle of Wight
• Collaborate with the Fusion Project Manager to ensure meaningful support and development of young people
• Be flexible to travel within the region and participate in DBS-cleared safeguarding practices
