BBC Extend is hiring a Journalism Coordinator (Part Time) for BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, Cambridge. This permanent, part-time role is 28 hours per week with a salary of £24,500–£27,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.

You will support the presenter and producer during on-air programmes, help set up content for weekend shows on Thursday and Friday, line up guests and callers, and compile travel news for the presenter to read.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the weekend show and output eight hours of live programming each week.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support a multiplatform approach across three counties.
• Produce and edit audio, handle live sources as the show goes out.
• Line up guests and chat to callers to prep them for air.
• Compile travel news for the presenter to read.
