Job summary

John Lewis Partnership’s Waitrose Stirling is recruiting a Customer Delivery Driver (part-time). You’ll start your day in-store, load the van and deliver Waitrose orders directly to customers, while representing the Waitrose brand with outstanding service.

This role requires a full UK driving licence (max 6 points), strong customer service and time management, and the ability to lift crates. Flexible or compressed hours may be possible; DBS checks may be required during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Full valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Capable of handling physical tasks (lifting crates, moving cages).
• Self-motivated and adaptable.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and comply with road safety.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent service.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport.
• Support shop team with general duties.
